Fisher Price Auto Rock N Play
This is a life saver with Skye. Not only does this fit perfectly next to our bed, without taking up much room, but it's super easy to pick up and move to a different room. It folds up, and fits in the truck of my Honda Civic with no problems whatsoever. The real bread winner of this is the automatic rocking attachment. Skye loves to be moving while she sleeps, in the hospital the only way we could even get her to stay asleep was pacing around the room with her.
The only downfall of this product is the music, a lot of times right when you turn it on the music starts playing and will wake the baby up. Now this may not be an issue for everyone, but we've found that Skye really isn't a huge fan of music or rainforest sounds while she sleeps (She prefers a constant white noise). But in all honesty it isn't really a con, seeing as though I know plenty of people whose babies loves music while they sleep.
A Glider and Ottoman Set
I can't even begin to tell you how essential this is. While pregnant I wanted one, but didn't realize how badly I was going to need it. I exclusively breast feed Skye (She occasionally gets a bottle of breast milk too) and when we finally got this it literally changed our nursing sessions. This is so much more comfortable for both you and baby. This is the exact Glider that I have off of Amazon, and it is so comfortable. It makes it so much easier, that we actually moved it into the living room so that I could nurse her comfortably when we are watching a movie, etc. I don't even just use it for nursing, she LOVES to be rocked to sleep and honestly I fall asleep in it too.
The only downfall of a glider set, is that they can be a little pricy, but they are 100% worth every penny.
Britax B-Safe 35 Elite Car Seat
Britax B-Agile Stroller
While I know we could have gotten the matching stroller for our car seat, I really wanted the B-Agile stroller. I love how easy it is to open and close, especially since you can close it with one hand. It is a full size stroller, but when it folds up it takes up hardly any space. That was a huge deciding factor for most of the baby products that I wanted, since I drive such a small vehicle. This fits in my trunk, with a ton of room to spare.
The only downfall I see to this is that you have to buy all of the stroller attachments (Snack Tray, Cup Holder, etc.).
Blooming Bath
I know a lot of people actually dislike this item, but personally I love this thing.
This sits in our kitchen sink perfectly, and we don't have to worry about her being uncomfortable either. I love how soft it is, and it never loses shape. Another plus is that it's super cute!
The only downfall to this is drying it, they say to let it hang dry, but it does take forever to do that, and it will drip. I actually just throw mine in the dryer right after use, and it works great.
