Dyson V6 Cordless Vacuum Review
Recently Andrew and I bought a Dyson V6 cordless vacuum, because we have been needing a new vacuum for a couple years now. I had looked at a bunch of different vacuums, and read reviews, watched YouTube videos on them, etc. I decided to give Dyson a chance, and went with a cheaper model, and I love it! I 100% love this vacuum! it pull up so much dirt and dog hair that has settled into the carpet!
I even vacuumed with our old vacuum, and then went over it again with our Dyson and the amount of dirt and hair it pulled up was crazy! It really gets down into the carpet to get everything!
The only complaint I have is the runtime, we went with the one that only has a twenty minute runtime. Which really isn't too big of a problem, as long as I don't try to vacuum the house, and then the car right after. I do wish it would run on the max setting for longer than four minutes though. I feel like if I used the max setting, I would only have to vacuum the high traffic areas once, instead of going over them a couple times to make sure I get everything up.
I love that the Dyson V6 is bagless because that saves me from having to buy a new bag once a month (I cannot deal with how gross they get). It's also not super loud, so I can vacuum when Andrew, or Skye, is sleeping and the noise won't bother either of them.
It's super lightweight too, which makes cleaning those yucky cobwebs a breeze! I dust our air vents with it too! I used to have to try and clean them with a rag or paper towel, and it took forever! Now it literally takes five minutes! With working full time, and finishing up school, I definitely need to save as much time as I can.
The spinning brush completely comes apart, and is very user friendly. I am no good at taking things apart, and putting them back together, but this is so stinking easy! The biggest thing I hated about our old vacuum, was that I couldn't properly clean the bristles. With the Dyson V6 I can take apart the brush head pull off any hairs or strings that have gotten wound around the bristles, and wash the brush if needed! It takes less than five minutes to take apart, and about the same to put it back together!
All in all I absolutely love this vacuum, and would 100% recommend buying! I don't regret it at all, and hopefully I can have the chance to try and review other models!
(I've had my eye on the Dyson V8 Absolute!)
